The Challenge

To design and develop an LED court that not only served as a visually striking centerpiece for the NBA All-Star Weekend but also introduced interactive features that enhanced the viewing experience for both in-arena spectators and television audiences. The court needed to seamlessly integrate real-time replays, live statistics, and player-tracking graphics, ensuring that the visual elements were both dynamic and functional.

Widespread Reach and Digital Impact

Averaging 4.7 million viewers across TNT platforms, the event captured a massive audience, reinforcing its significance in the world of sports entertainment. Beyond traditional viewership, the innovative LED court sparked widespread engagement on social media, where fans actively shared videos and images, amplifying its impact. The dynamic visuals and interactive elements resonated with audiences, generating discussions and organic exposure across multiple digital platforms.

The NBA Court as a Dynamic Canvas

Designed as a fully responsive digital surface, the LED court seamlessly displayed high-resolution graphics and real-time data, ensuring clarity at both arena scale and on mobile screens. To optimize branding integration, three primary color sets—red, blue, and green—were adopted, aligning with event sponsors while maintaining visual impact in both live and digital broadcasts.
